Join us for exciting features
of worship and praise.
Each Sunday we will light the Advent wreath, sing and hear the music of the Season, and prepare our hearts to welcome Christ.
Pastor Dan will speak on the theme of Peace for Advent and Christmas.
November 29
The first Sunday in Advent, he will talk about the peace that accompanies holiness, even in hard times.
December 6
He will revisit the Civil War story behind the writing of “I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day,” including re-enactment props of a Civil War soldier, a reading of the original poem, including the unused third verse, and a singing of the Casting Crowns setting of the song.
December 13
Pastor Dan will talk about Joy and the Peace of God in “The Desirability of Silly Smiles,” based on Philippians 4:4-7
December 20
The Children’s program will conclude with “Peace Paid” and the Michael W. Smith song, “All Is Well,” sung by Dorcas Keating.
December 24
The theme of peace will feature in the activities of both the 7 p.m. and the 11:00 p.m. Christmas Eve Services. The 7 p.m. service will include a children’s pickup pageant.
