Art Around Town

The Gonyo Studio

I want to thank the Trinity people who attended my Art showing in my home. There were sales enough to give Trinity a 30%  gift of $178.00.  Additionally, a newly-commissioned request was received. Thank those who not only visited the show but purchased paintings.

Since my home is in Mount Prospect and the show is sponsored in Arlington Heights, only two people showed up after shopping at the Arlington Heights location. I was fearful that the turnout from other communities would be low but thanks to my Trinity family, it was a successful!

I also want to let everyone know that my studio is open any time for anyone who wants to check out the art.  As Christmas is approaching, it is a good time to shop for a gift of original art for your family and friends at reduced prices.

Additionally, someone spotted a cottage painting on my shelf (that I was not showing) from the Methodist Campground and was excited that it looks like her mother in laws cottage so she purchased the painting for her husband’s Christmas present. You never know……..!

Anyone requesting a special order painting for Christmas, please get your request in soon so I have time to honor your request.

Thank you all so very much, Barb Gonyo
