Rev. Wendy Hardin Hermann, Senior Pastor
Pastor Wendy joined the staff of Trinity in August of 2017, as our lead pastor/head of staff. She is a lifelong United Methodist, with family roots in the Deep South. In addition, she is a “PK (Pastor’s Kid)” – her mother is a retired United Methodist pastor who served churches in Alabama and Georgia. Pastor Wendy has served in pastoral ministry since 1997, here in the Northern Illinois Conference. She is passionate about leading a church that: welcomes all, offers a reflective and relevant faith, and puts love into action. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from United Methodist-related Birmingham-Southern College, and a Master of Divinity from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary. She and her husband Steve (a high school teacher) live in Mount Prospect. One of their greatest joys (and greatest challenges!) is parenting: their family includes two teenagers, one pre-teen, a 9 year old dog, and a 1 year old cat. When she’s not doing “church stuff” you can find Wendy on a run, reading the latest enneagram book, drinking strong coffee, or watching Jeopardy re-runs on Netlfix.
Jacki Bogolia, Director of Community and Family Ministries
Jacki is a life-long Methodist and native Iowan. She holds a Certificate in Christian Education from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary and a BA in Psychology from the University of Iowa. She began her career in Los Angeles where she was active in Westwood and Northridge UM churches. In addition to children, youth, and adult ministry, her background includes payroll, production accounting, and operations management. As a paraprofessional, she served in nonprofit organizations offering crisis-line counseling, career counseling and volunteer training. She held staff and consulting positions in career development and coaching at the University of Southern California MBA Career Office and Drake Beam Morin, Inc. After moving back to the Midwest, she joined the Special Education staff of Elmhurst School District 205. She served on the United Voices for Children Board of Directors and the Christians Engaged in Faith Formation (CEF) NIC leadership team. Jacki is a member of First UMC, Elmhurst. She enjoys listening to audio books, practicing yoga, walking in the woods, conversation, and time with family.
Lise Renne, Office Administrator
Lise enjoys bringing Hoosier hospitality to all she meets in her role as Trinity’s Office Administrator.
With a B.A. from Indiana University, she’s gained a variety of experience in sales, marketing and business development in the cable tv arena, as well as franchise financing. She also owned a couple of franchises herself – a local childcare placement agency, and Kindermusik music studio.
She’s happy to bring those skills to Trinity because it feels like home, having grown up in a church community.
Lise can help you learn more about the many ways you can get involved within groups you’re interested in!
Tyrone H. Mitchell, Sr., Director of Music Ministries
Ty has been conducting church choirs since the age of 12. He also has many years of experience conducting over 250 voice choirs for television, the Medina Temple, Orchestra Hall, and the Civic Opera House.
His passion and zeal for conducting choirs and instrumentalists, as well as his own vocal solo performances, is heartfelt, spiritual and fun. Under his leadership the size of the choir at Trinity has grown, partly due to his creative, interpretive musical style and his strong spiritual faith. The congregation is blessed to the heavens by his music ministry. He received a bachelor’s degree from Roosevelt University where he studied Choral Conducting. Roosevelt was a wonderful institution to embellish and fine-tune his gift of conducting. He has been Director of Music Ministries at Trinity since August, 2007.
Welcome Gail Krzeminski
This Sunday, August 27 we welcome Trinity’s new Playroom staff caregiver, Gail Krzeminski in worship. Gail is a very proud mother of two successful, grown children, and grandmother of two little ones. Gail enjoys being with children, especially young children. Some of her passions are traveling, interior decorating, and she loves shopping the resale stores for treasures. Gail will shadow Jacki and Sylvia in the Playroom until she is ready to take the lead. Please extend a warm Trinity welcome to Gail!
