Rummage Sale, May 4 & 5

PART TWO

A few people have asked for clarification as to what constitutes acceptable donations to this year’s Trinity Rummage Sale in light of new regulations regarding electrical items, so here goes for a bit of clarification.

Here is what we CAN use:

Clothing in good (and clean) condition for men, women, children and infants.

Clothing accessories including belts, purses, hats, jewelry, good shoes & boots

Decorative items (vases, tea pots, candle holders, etc.)

Kitchen items, including house wares, and small electric appliances.

Toys, bicycles, complete games and puzzles, and sporting goods.

Books, Music CDs, and DVD movies.

Yard tools, garage tools and hardware items.

Bath, bedding, and bedroom furniture (no young child cribs).

Furniture, but none needing repair.

Here is what we CANNOT use:

Microwaves, dishwashers, ovens, stoves, washers, dryers, refrigerators or freezers.

Computer, printer or FAX machines.

Swing sets, basketball goals, full-size trampolines.

Hot water tanks, air conditioning units.

Encyclopedias.

Entertainment centers, televisions, TV cabinets or TV wall units, sleeper sofas, metal desks, organs, or mattresses and box springs and water beds.

Hazardous items of any sort.

Your adherence to these suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Janice and Skip Farley
