30-Hour Famine – May 4 & 5
Our youth group is doing World Vision’s 30 Hour Famine—learning the truth about hunger, poverty, injustice, and what God thinks about it all.
We’re going without food for 30 hours to raise money so others can eat.
Here’s how you can help:
1. Pray. Ask God to bless our students as they overcome hunger.
2. Volunteer. Come join us during our Famine Weekend.
3. Give what you are able. Donations help feed and care for hungry kids around the world.Contact:

Prayer Blanket Ministry
By Easter Sunday, the Prayer Blanket Ministry will have given 11 lap blankets to people who are in need of Trinity’s love and prayers. As I count up the names, only three have been Trinity members. All the rest are friends or relatives of Trinity members. The farthest reaching are blankets soon to be given to three members of Lenor Davis’s new church in Oklahoma. This is a great opportunity to reach out to people whom we do not know.
We have had eighteen volunteers who spent an hour or two cutting fringes. Two of the volunteers have been men. We have had good advice and donations from the quilters. We have had monetary donations from church members to help purchase the material. We have had great support from Pastor Dan. We have had knots tied and prayers said by many people in the congregation. I thank each and every person for what they have done.
If this ministry is to continue, there is a need for more money to purchase material. It is never my intent to ask someone to pay for a blanket. Donations, however, are needed. Checks can be made out to Trinity United Church Attention: Prayer Blanket Ministry. Judy Studtmann
