United Methodist Women

Trinity United Methodist Church continues to develop ministries to enhance the lives of children, men and women. Our Women's ministries are designed to meet the needs all persons.

Our Purpose

The organized unit of United Methodist Women (UMW) is a community of women whose purpose is to know God and to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; and to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.

Members of the United Methodist Women are actively involved in the life of the church through various ministries.We meet five times per year for a variety of programs, meals, and activities. United Methodist Women meet monthly in several small groups to enjoy Christian fellowship and development through a variety of presentations and programs.

UMW Circles

Smaller groups, called Circles, meet nine times per year, September through May, at the following times:

Esther Circle – meets at 1 p.m. on the third Wednesday of the month in the Fireside Room. Chair - Geri Bender

Sarah Rachel Circle – meets at 9:30 a.m. on the third Thursday of the month in the Fireside Room.  Childcare provided. Chairs- Barbara McKeown and Karen Smith

Susanna Wesley Circle – meets at 7:30 p.m. on the fourth Monday of the month in the Fireside Room. Chair - Nancy Murray

UMW Spring Plant and Flower Sale

Saturday, May 10th, 10:30 am to 2:00 p.m.

 

We’ll have many plants and flowers to choose from. Pre-orders will also be available to pick up at this time. Remember... Every woman loves flowers! Mother’s Day is Sunday, May 11th so this may be a perfect day to purchase a gift for a special woman in your life! All proceeds go toward United Methodist Women’s Missions.
