Let’s Walk!

Join TUMC members for a walk in the park for Let’s Walk’s second event. Meet at 9:30 am this Sunday, July 27.

 We’ll meet at Clearwater Park, 1724 W. Lonnquist, Mt. Prospect. Park on the street. 

The 3/4 mile paved path circles a lovely lake and has many stopping points with benches. Do the whole thing, or make it shorter, or just come to chat at the starting point! There will be a game you can choose to do, or not. Families with children are encouraged to come, too!

We’ll leave for church by 10:00. BYO water bottle. Carole Stephens will be at the starting point to greet you.

We’re excited to welcome those who feel called to make Trinity United Methodist Church their church home! If you’ve been worshiping with us and are considering membership—or simply want to learn more about who we are—we invite you to attend our upcoming New Member Orientation Classes.

Sundays, July 13, 20, OR 27 (choose 1)
9:15 – 10:00 AM in the Pastor’s Office

This class is a chance to connect with Pastor Park, learn about our Methodist roots and mission, explore your own faith journey, and ask any questions you may have. Whether you’re new to church altogether or new to Trinity, all are welcome.

Following the orientation, there will be an opportunity to officially join as members during a special worship service in August.

Campfire Quest

A 3-Evening Free Vacation Bible School

Hey Trinity Kids ~ AND Trinity Adults!

You’re invited to join in with The Lutheran Church across the street 
for 3 evenings of Vacation Bible School, snacks, music and games!

August 5-7th 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.

June Mission Focus

In June, we’ll be collecting mission donations for the work of Reverend Jane Eesley, Norther Illinios pastor and missionary in the Methodist Liason Office in Jerusalem. A video message from her will be shown on Sunday!
