Annual Plant Sale 2025

Saturday, May 10th from  9:30 am – 1:30 pm

Plant Sale Orders are due April 11th
Pickup will be Saturday, May 10th at church (Mother’s Day is the 11th) 

Help United Women in Faith in fundraising for local, national and global missions by ordering plants and flowers! Order forms will be available in the narthex during March. View and print order form here. Or, submit your order online (Click here). Be sure you pre-order ahead so you will have all the items for your gardening this season. Pickup will be Saturday, May 10th at church (Mother’s Day is the 11th). 

]Also: There will be perennials and limited flowers and vegetables available for purchase day-of.

Bring Love to Incarcerated Moms this Mother’s Day

UWFaith Susanna Wesley Circle Invites You to Help Bring Love and Encouragement to Incarcerated Moms this Mother’s Day

This Mother’s Day, Trinity is partnering with Companions, Journeying Together, Inc. to provide hope and connection to incarcerated mothers in Illinois who are separated from their families. Companions has, for 35 years, been sending birthday and mother’s day cards, as well as providing blank cards for the imprisoned mothers to send to their families. Through our actions, we can remind these women that they are loved and not forgotten. Learn more about Companions, Journeying Together: https://cjtinc.org/projects.

How You Can Help:

1.  Pray – Lift up these mothers in prayer as they face challenges of separation.

2. Contribute Materials Needed through March 30th (look for basket in the narthex):

✦ Stationery   
         Please Avoid:  Plain white paper
✦ Cards (Mother’s Day, Thinking of You, Blank)   
         Please Avoid cards with:  Glued items, glitter, stickers, crayon/marker
✦ Forever Postage Stamps
✦ Paper Lunch Bags          

3. Provide a Monetary donation for delivery costs (Checks to Companions Journeying Together, Inc.)

4. Volunteer on Monday, March 31st at 5 pm in the Narthex to Assemble Mother’s Day Packets

Feed My Starving Children

United Women in Faith is sponsoring a church-wide service opportunity with Feed My Starving Children

Sign up today (narthex or contact church office) to take part in this meaningful opportunity to serve together on Saturday, March 29th from 2:30 pm – 4:00pm. Children must be at least 5 years old and accompanied by their parents.
