Trinity’s mission focus for November is Kids Above All (KAA). Since 1894, Kids Above All has created safer, stronger and healthier communities for children and families in Cook, DuPage, Kane and Lake counties through early childhood education, safe, supportive housing, and trauma-informed counseling programs. Every child in KAA’s care has experienced trauma — abuse, neglect, poverty, violence or injustice. Kids Above All provides the support they need to have the best possible life. kidsaboveall.org
Last Sunday, the 36 names Trinity had for KAA’s Christmas gift program were quickly taken. Thank you for your support! The gifts are due back at church on either Nov. 30th or December 7th. Contact Lois if you are interested in going with to Des Plaines on Dec. 9th to deliver and help check in and wrap gifts.
