JOURNEYS | The Road Home is a nonprofit agency providing homeless shelter, housing assistance, homelessness prevention services, and supportive social services for individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Cook County and Lake County, Illinois. Serving 37 communities across the north and northwest suburbs of Chicago, JOURNEYS offers emergency shelter, case management, housing navigation, rapid rehousing support, and housing stability programs through its PADS Shelter Program, HOPE Center, and Pathways Housing Readiness Program. Our mission is to help people facing housing insecurity achieve long-term stability through compassionate support, community partnerships, volunteer engagement, and advocacy to end homelessness.
