This Month’s Mission Moment:  Mujila Falls Agriculture Center, Zambia

Addressing hunger and poverty with sustainable agriculture and leadership training. Global Ministries is working with the Lunda people of extreme North West Zambia. They have the highest infant mortality rates and lowest life expectancy of all tribes in Zambia. The greatest need is to improve protein, vitamin and mineral content in the local diet and help families to increase incomes so they can provide for schooling, medical care, clothing, additional foods, etc. You may choose to give here (indicate Mujila in Note field), or in the pew mission envelopes. 

Sammool House, an outreach ministry of the Mount Prospect Sammool Korean United Methodist Church, is is a ministry for Asian American women in crisis with various life issues. The Sammool House offers a caring, equipping, and loving place to Asian American women who are suffering economically, emotionally, and spiritually through Bible study, English language school, career training, counseling services, free medical care, and federal support services.
